The 2023 ACM Awards take place amidst a major Hollywood writers’ strike, which forced the MTV Movie & TV Awards to broadcast pre-taped and without a host on Sunday, May 7. Carly Pearce, Bailey Zimmerman, Brian Kelley, Lauren Alaina, Megan Moroney and Lady A’s Hillary Scott will also be part of sessions discussing the hottest issues in country music. Jelly Roll will play at Marathon Music Works on June 6, with Garth Brooks sitting down for an intimate Q&A at the same venue on June 7. In addition to performing at the ACMs, he’s set to perform at Billboard’s first-ever Billboard Country Live event, which takes place in Nashville on June 6-7.
